Five horses scored points for players on Day 2 of The Festival, with the most popular being Sir Gerhard in the opener. It wasn't all plain sailing though as the third most popular horse in this year's competition, Shishkin, was pulled up early in the Champion Chase. A correction has also been made to yesterday's results. Stattler scored 33 points, not 28 as originally allocated, the scores have been updated accordingly on today's leader board.
Tony Crossland remains at the top of the table on 278.44 after wins for his stable star Sir Gerhard and Energumene. Peter Yates has moved in to second thanks to wins from L'Homme Presse, Energumene and Sir Gerhard. Mark Wellsteed is currently in sixth place on 221.09, but his stable star is yet to run.
