Glacier Point Goes Close

Glacier Point gave her best run to date and provided members with a great Saturday evening at Lingfield this weekend. Despite being a little flighty beforehand and on ground that had dried significantly throughout the day, Glacier Point stayed on well to get second behind a very well handicapped Come On Dave.

The drop down to 5f seems to have worked wonders and if there was more cut in the ground she may have gone one better. Trainer Clive Cox said, “I'm very pleased with the result on Saturday. She’s definitely blossomed over the past few weeks. I’d prefer to run her on a stiffer 5 furlongs rather than step back up to 6 furlongs. We’ll cover entries when the ground is right.”

We are hoping this is the start to a big second half of the season for Glacier Point and judging by what happened on Saturday, members could be rewarded sooner rather than later. There is still time to join the Glacier Point Group.
