Exciting yearling sales with full brother to Clouds Rest heading to Tattersalls

There are a couple of exciting sales at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale for Racegoers Club members to take notice of next month. Both are entries from Whitsbury Manor Stud who we have formed a successful partnership with over recent years.

In Book 2 across 9-11 October, lot number 1,000 is a bay colt by Showcasing out of Ahwahnee making him a full brother to our three-time winner and Royal Ascot runner Clouds Rest.

Trained by Richard Fahey, Clouds Rest was an absolute legend for the Racegoers Club - winning a maiden on her second start for us at Beverley before following up in a Fillies Conditions race at Newbury.

On the back of those two wins she was sent off 25/1 for the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot in 2014 and gave our owners plenty of excitement as she led the far side group from the off and had every chance two furlongs out before fading.

We will watch to see how her full brother gets on and progresses as a two-year-old next year. He is of course also a half brother to Glacier Point who is in training with Clive Cox at the moment and won at Chepstow earlier in the summer and has been placed five times in total.

The other entry to look out for is in Book 3 which takes place from 12-14 October and features a bay filly by Swiss Spirit out of Nellie Ellis who is a half sister to Showbizzy and is lot 1703.

Showbizzy was also trained by Richard Fahey and ran 14 times for the Racegoers Club, winning twice - at Bath and Doncaster.

We will keep a keen eye out for both in the future!
